Our History
There was no doubt. When Juan and I decided to be a couple, we knew we had to create something together. Too old to have children, we poured our hearts into making a wine, then two…
With Juan's guidance, I acquired several vineyard plots. I immediately understood his passion for the countryside and his love for the hillsides. Las Cotarras, Pago de Anisal, El Hoyo del Francés, Las Cruces… each part of the estate has its own name, and the grapes have a completely distinct character.
Working with Juan is like going out to recess: fun, exciting, and exhausting.
Most of the time I live in a big city with the fast-paced life that comes with it, and my first lesson was that wine is born in the vineyard and it takes its time, it is never in a hurry to give its best grapes.
Who did you have in mind when you made "I Promise to Be Unfaithful"?
For people with independent taste, above well-known brands or trends, someone who wants to enjoy or give as a gift a Ribera that has surprised them.

Promise to Be Unfaithful is my most personal project. I've been connected to the world of wine my whole life. For as long as I can remember, the best adventure began every afternoon when my grandfather Gerardo hitched "La Serena" to the cart and we went up to the cellar to fill half a cántara with wine for the next day's "expenses.".
"Grapes come before barrels," my mother Angelines always said.
Why do I promise to be unfaithful?
Because you have to dare to be unfaithful to the usual wines, to what is established, and try new things.
