Without any doubt, when we became a couple, Juan and I were sure we had to create something special together. Too old to have children, we put our hearts into creating a wine, or two…
On Juan´s advice, I acquired several vineyards plots. I immediately felt his passion for the countryside and his deep love for the vineyard hills. Las Cotarras, Pago de Aanisal, El Hoyo del Francés, Las Cruces…each segment of land has its own name and an absolutely different personality.
Working with Juan is very much like going to the playground, fan and exciting but exhausting.
I spend most of my time living in a big city with the busy life that comes with it, and my very first lesson was that wine is born in the vineyard and that vines take their own time to produce the best grapes.
People with independent opinions and ideas, other than well -known brands or trends, someone who wants to enjoy or to gift a Ribera wine that has amazed them.
Prometo Ser Infiel is my most intimate and personal project.
For as long as I can remember since I was a child, the best adventure began every afternoon when my grandfather Gerardo hitched his horse Serena to the cart and we would go uphill to the winery to fill half a pitcher of wine to drink for the next day.

A unique wine as special as ours does not come out by chance. It’s the consequence of a singular demanding land and its absolutely hard and extreme climate in addition to a constant effort between winegrower and winemaker.
